BIOGRAPHY
In his youth Ronald Berghs followed a professional course in
woodworking and during his active career he was engaged in this
industry. His passion for the sound of the classical guitar gave him the
idea to start building them himself. He received an education in guitar
building at the “Centrum voor Muziekinstrumentenbouw (CMB)” at
Puurs where he had the possibility to thoroughly investigate top guitars
by Daniel Friederich, José Ramirez and John Gilbert. Since 1994 he started
his own career as guitar builder, following his own vision concerning
construction and sound.
